Children ages 3 to 6 years are invited to enroll in the

preschool and kindergarten education program at the

Montessori Children’s House of Lincoln

The Montessori Children’s House offers a wonderful early childhood education program for preschool and kindergarten age children! Montessori is a teaching method that channels a child’s innate curiosity toward the development of a love of learning. While it is new to Lincoln, the Montessori teaching concepts have inspired this love of learning for millions of children in hundreds of schools around the world for the past 100 years. The Montessori teaching method gives teachers the tools to gain and keep a child’s attention so that true learning can be achieved. Montessori provides the skills for writing, reading and early mathematical concepts.  Children are exposed to the world of music and art, and are provided opportunities for individual creativity. Manners and respect for others are strongly emphasized, so that grace and courtesy become a part of a child’s way of life!

We are fortunate to have recently acquired the The Montessori Children’s House and The Midwest Montessori Teacher Education Center in Lincoln. The school’s mission is to provide an outstanding preschool and kindergarten education while training teachers in the Montessori method. Ms. Bethany Vickers, the school’s director, is a Master Teacher certified by the Pan American Montessori Society with over 30 years of experience. Ms. Vickers personally instructs each child and is truly a master at developing a child’s excitement and appreciation for learning. This is a wonderful addition to our area’s educational options and a unique opportunity for families seeking an excellent preschool and kindergarten experience for their young children.

The Montessori Children’s House of Lincoln is very proud to be a member of the Pan American Montessori Society. For more information about this society and it's educational mission, please visit www.panamericanmontessorisociety.com
